Kotopita Recipe - Ingredients

  • 2 scallions, sliced thin
  • 2 stalks of celery, cut into very small pieces
  • ½ of bell pepper, cut into tiny pieces
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 2 chicken breasts cooked and chopped
  • ¼ cup of chicken broth
  • ½ cup of snipped parsley and dill, combined
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ pound of phyllo dough, at room temperature
  • 1 cup of crumbled graviera
  • Greek olive oil 

Kotopita Recipe - How to Make

  1. Start this authentic kotopita recipe by preheating the oven to 350°F.
  2. Sauté the scallions and celery lightly in 2 tablespoons of Greek olive oil. 
  3. Add the chicken and broth and stir until the liquids are absorbed. Add the herbs and salt and
