  • 125 g of couverture chocolate, preferably dark 70%
  • 375 g of flour, all-purpose
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 375 g of Greek yogurt, preferably nonfat
  • 70 g of butter 
  • 1½ teaspoons of baking soda
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of water 

Greek Yogurt Chocolate Cake - How to Make

  1. Start this Greek yogurt chocolate cake by melting the couverture chocolate with the help of a bain marie. 
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 
  3. Grease a small baking pan.
  4. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and sugar.
  5. In a separate medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, couverture chocolate, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and water until completely combined. 
  6. Add the butter mixture to the flour combination, and beat for 3–4 minutes until smooth. 
  7. Pour into the greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick placed in the center of the cakes
  9. comes out clean.
