Tirokafteri: A Greek Spicy Feta Cheese Dip

Tirokafteri (or tyrokafteri), a delicious spicy feta cheese sauce, is a truly popular traditional Greek dip. This easy recipe will show you how to make authentic tirokafteri! Although its preparation may vary from region to region, its ingredients mainly include feta cheese, cream cheese, hot peppers, olive oil, vinegar, yogurt, and oregano. I will soon try other variations of this recipe and share them if I like them.

Most of the times, tirokafteri is usually part of a mezze platter (appetizer); however, you can eat it by itself with slices of warm pita bread! Moreover, this Greek spicy feta cheese dip is a mouthwatering barbecue sauce as its spicy and salty taste fits greatly with all meats. It is even ideal as a vegetable dip or a party snack. To be honest, I find this Greek feta spicy deep so delicious that I can eat a bowl by myself.

Easy to prepare as you do not need cooking skills, this tirokafteri recipe is ready in just 15 minutes and serves 4 persons. In case there is a leftover, which I highly doubt it, store tirokafteri in the fridge for around 5-6 days.
