Spinach Greek Yogurt Dip

This Greek yogurt spinach dip is one of my favorite dips for many reasons. First of all, it is really easy to make. Actually, no special cooking skills are required! Second, it is good for your health. Have you ever heard of Greek yogurt and its health benefits? The yogurt I use for this Greek yogurt spinach dip is zero fat, is full of proteins and can be eaten alone or in combination with other foods any time of the day! Finally, this Greek yogurt spinach dip is simply delicious. Easy to prepare, good for your diet and delicious. This could be the perfect dip! I almost forgot. This is also a great vegetarian dip!

Spinach Greek Yogurt Dip

Greek Yogurt Spinach Dip Recipe  – Ingredients

    • 3 tablespoons of Greek olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon of garlic, minced
    • 350 g of spinach leaves
    • 2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice
    • 1 cup of Greek yogurt. For this Greek yogurt veggie dip recipe, I used zero fat yogurt.
    • 1/2 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
    • 1 tablespoon of fresh dill, chopped
    • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Greek Yogurt Spinach Dip Recipe – Instructions

  1. Take a medium-size saucepan.
  2. Add the oil.
  3. Heat oil in a saucepan over high heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and stir well for around 1 minute.
  5. Add spinach leaves and stir well for around 2 minutes.
  6. Take a slotted spoon and place the spinach leaves into a food processor.
  7. Mash spinach leaves until turned to a puree.
  8. Add the fresh lemon juice, yogurt, feta, and dill.
  9. Mash again until all ingredients become one.
  10. Add pepper and salt.
  11. Taste and add more salt and pepper if it is needed.
  12. Yogurt dip is ready.
  13. It can be served hot or cold.
  14. Keep it refrigerated and covered.
