Greek Yogurt Peanut Butter Smoothie

This Greek yogurt peanut butter smoothie is a just delicious!  What’s not to like with peanut butter and bananas? Besides its great taste, it is also full of protein because of the yogurt. For this reason, this Greek yogurt peanut butter smoothie is perfect before and after your fitness workout. Make sure your peanut butter is organic or does not contain trans fat. Organic peanut butter contains only peanuts and salts. Organic peanut butter is a great energy booster full of proteins, fiber, and healthy fats.

Greek yogurt is probably the best ingredient for smoothies. It is thick, creamy and healthy. Moreover, it has a great nutritional value. It has the same amount of calories with regular yogurt, but it contains about twice as much protein and half the sugar content. If you work out, you should eat it every day. In order to build muscles and burn fat, you need to consume more protein. Instead of using a protein powder supplement, Greek yogurt is a great and healthy option. Greek yogurt, however, is not just packed with protein. It is also rich in beneficial bacteria or probiotics. Probiotics are essential to proper digestion and immune system functioning. Finally, Greek yogurt also provides a good amount of calcium – in a form that’s more easily absorbed due to the beneficial bacteria or live cultures.
