Coffee Frappe Recipe: An Easy and Popular Greek Recipe

I was pretty much surprised to find out that the 7th of October is the National Frappe Day! I think in Greece, people celebrate this cold coffee every day. Even though is not so popular as it was in the past, drinking frappe in Greece is still a ritual. You go out with your friends to one of the thousands of coffee stores and enjoy your frappe coffee while chatting and socializing.

Just like any other Greek, I have spent hours and hours when I was younger drinking frappe while spending time with my best friends. I still do when I have time. So, if you ever visit Greece, just go out for a frappe. Until then, make this easy to follow coffee frappe recipe and invite your friends over!

To make this popular cold coffee, you will just need coffee, sugar, cold water, evaporated milk and 2 ice cubes. The secret in any coffee frappe recipe is to find the right portion of ingredients; and, how much you stir the ingredients with the mixer. If you don’t stir enough, you will feel the  sugar and coffee beans. If you stir it a lot, your coffee will become a little be washy.

I like having my frappe sweet, thus I make it with two tablespoons of sugar. You on the other hand, may enjoy it differently. Thus, I suggest you try it a couple of times before you treat your friends! After all, practice brings perfection!
